I see, I've only done polygonal modeling in blender, I tried doing organic modeling before, but I couldn't smooth out the cubes' edges correctly. Thank you very much.
They key here, is the smooth brush from sculpt tools, it gives you great control over smothing. I think its enabled by pressing Shift, but you have to look that up as I am not so sure.

I know this is a pretty old post, but I have to ask. How did you go from the previous post to that? Did you subdivide and used to sculpt tool?
Exactly, that is what I did.
Sculpting in blender actually works pretty nicely. Is not very far behind Zbrush. So if you have not already you should try it.

You will have to be on sculpt mode of course.
