The red dragon (part 2)

a new update. Nothing is finished here, I love to jump around and give detail or change general shapes until satisfied.

I know this is a pretty old post, but I have to ask. How did you go from the previous post to that? Did you subdivide and used to sculpt tool?

Exactly, that is what I did.

Sculpting in blender actually works pretty nicely. Is not very far behind Zbrush. So if you have not already you should try it.

And it the quickest way to do complex organic modelling

I see, I've only done polygonal modeling in blender, I tried doing organic modeling before, but I couldn't smooth out the cubes' edges correctly.

They key here, is the smooth brush from sculpt tools, it gives you great control over smothing. I think its enabled by pressing Shift, but you have to look that up as I am not so sure.

You will have to be on sculpt mode of course.
